Hepatico contains extracts of the nettle, plantain, and immortelle herbs from the Mingrelian and Zemo-svanetian mountains of the Republic of Georgia, in an herbal base of milk thistle, turmeric root and dandelion root. The herbal remedy has undergone extensive preclinical and clinical investigations in the Republic of Georgia since 1992. It has been researched and prescribed extensively by the medical communities of Eastern Europe to treat patients with acute and chronic forms of hepatitis and cirrhosis.
Facts about Hepatico:
Hepatico, a non-toxic, safe oral dietary supplement and herbal remedy, restores the liver and normalizes its functions. It is an effective means for treating the acute and chronic forms of Hepatitis A, B, and C.
The medical properties of the herbal remedy have been confirmed in physician supervised preclinical and clinical trials. Clinical investigations with Hepatico have shown that patients (children and adults) ill with acute Hepatitis A, B, or C were healed in 7-10 days, while patients (children and adults) suffering from chronic forms recovered in 14-28 days.

The following immunological indicators were determined: the content of leucocytes, lymphocytes, and the content of basic populations and subpopulations of lymphocytes by the method of flour cytometry of the T-Cell (CD3), T-Helpens/Inducers (CD4), T-suppressors/cytotoxic lymphocytes (CD8), B-lymphocytes (CD72), natural killer cells (CD16), HLA-DR lymphocytes, the ratio TX/Tc (the immunoregulatory indicator - IRI), the level of serum immunoglobulins (lg) of the 3 classes IgA, IgM, and IgG, and the content of marker proteins. The researchers concluded that Hepatico has a positive effect on patients with various forms of hepatitis as evidenced by its positive effect on the majority of the measured immunological indicators.
Indications for use of Hepatico
Hepatico is recommended for treatment of infectious and toxic hepatitis caused by alcohol, medicines, narcotics, chemicals (e.g. jaundice and cirrhosis); infectious diseases (e.g. staphylococcus, leprosy, plague, cholera, and so on); and cancer, toxicosis, and female toxicosis. Hepatico has been used effectively during pregnancy with no negative side effects or adverse reactions.
Hepatico is recommended for persons who use or have used alcohol or narcotics, over a long term, and also for persons who have been subjected to poisoning, including a general anemia in patients following chemotherapy for cancerous tumors or leukemia.

Caution: During treatment, avoid the consumption of alcohol, and reduce the intake of high protein animal products (meat, eggs and milk), and food preparation with fermentative properties.
Side Effects - In rare cases, a slight dizziness may be noticed during the first few days after treatment is initiated. Also, there may be instances in which the herbal remedy, Hepatico, acts as a laxative, particularly if the patient has a copious flow of bile. No other side effects have been observed.
Directions for use - In instances where, after ingesting Hepatico, no hydrogen sulphide eructation occurs within 15-20 minutes, it is recommended that the patient be given a laxative to purge the stomach. A high mucus content in the stomach can hinder the absorption of Hepatico. The laxative is used only at the commencement of Hepatico treatments. No other vitamins or herbs are to be taken while using the Hepatico. Doing so could stop the action of the Hepatico.
Dosage - Children and adults under 80KG (175 pounds) bodyweight: 1 capsule, 3 times per day, take just before meals, at intervals of not less than 3 or more than 5 hours.

It is suggest that Hepatitco be taken for at least six months.
